Bulletin: The Puppies have arrived!

Astride one of the foothills of the Virginia Appalachia, Skyemoor Farm is dedicated to preserving and growing the American tradition of the sustainable family farm, from the American farm collie to the flock of Scottish hill sheep.

Our philosophy concerning farm collies focuses on the English Shepherd, a breed known for its all around abilities with herding, guarding, and hunting, a rebirth of the Old Scotch Collie, renowned for its tireless, intelligent ability to understand the farmer's routines and keep the animals in their respective places in the barnyard or the pasture.

Our approach with the flock centers around pasture raised sheep with rotational grazing to maintain healthy pastures and sheep, and the exclusion of growth hormones and antibiotic-laced feed .

In addition, the farm boasts over 38 cultivars of fruit and nut trees, a large raised bed garden, and diverse grain plots.
